Revue Banque: the debate between Jean-François Serval and Christian de Boissieu on debt issues is available online

Jean-François Serval, president of Groupe Audit Serval, and Christian de Boissieu, economist, professor emeritus at Paris I (Panthéon-Sorbonne), vice-president of the Circle of economists, led an in-depth debate on the sustainability of public debt and the responses to be implemented to escape the debt trap. This high-level exchange was led by Sylvie Guydony, director of editorial activities at Revue Banque, in the November issue of the review (n° 837). The title of the article sums up the approach of the two experts well, beyond the differences in analysis that they sometimes express: “Produce more and take structural measures in the face of debt”.
